ABOFREM AREA FOUNDATION PRODUCES AFRICAN MOST BEAUTIFUL USA PAGEANT
OUR MISSION
Abofrem Area Foundation, Inc. (AAF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization based in the United States. You can visit our website at: www.abofremareafoundation.org.
The AAF is the brainchild of Nana Obaahemaa Nkrumah Akosua Adasa III, a Ghanian-American, whose desire to provide the village of Abofrem, her original hometown located in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, as well as the surrounding villages in Ghana and other African countries to get access to food, employment, education, sanitation, and medical needs.
On January 5, 2022, the foundation proudly opened the doors to the much-anticipated Ye Neya Woso H. F. P. Clinic to the public.
Now, the long-awaited dream of having a nearby clinic in the Kumasi-Ashante region in Ghana finally came true. This facility is offering a variety of medical services, ranging from regular physical exams and vaccinations to gynecological/obstetrics assistance.
The African Most Beautiful USA 2022 pageant was organized by Abofrem Area Foundation, Inc. with the goal of celebrating the diversity and beauty of young women from all parts of the African continent in the United States of America.
With a first-place car, crown, and cash prizes up for grabs, seven lovely and eloquent African ladies graced the stage aboard the Cornucopia Majesty Yacht in New York City on the night of July 23, 2022, all representing various African countries and showcasing their respective talents, poise, and intelligence while entertaining and educating those in attendance about the fascinating cultures of Africa.
Our lovely 2022 winner, Laurie Fonhoue, representing Cameroon, won the car and has become a good-will Ambassador, giving back to all African-centric societies and championing the cause of young African women everywhere.
We are now gearing up for Season III of the African Most Beautiful USA pageant and hope to attract many more amazing participants to showcase in this very unique event.
