Hawa Ceesay is from the smiling coast of West Africa, Gambia, where she was raised by her grandmother. Hawa was always surrounded by many joyous people that truly shaped her vibrant Character. Today Hawa is warm and welcoming everybody with a smile. She graduated from the University of Memphis in 2021 with a degree in Journalism. She lives by her motto, ‘If it’s not worthy; do not waste a mitochondrial cell.” It is through the power and strength of this words that inspires Hawa’s patient character; to never entertain negativity and gratefully invest her ATP cells to a greater cause.
