God be the glory! Greetings and welcome!I am Folashade Omisanmi. My roots stem from Ile Ife Nigeria. However, I was born in Washington D.C. and raised in Prince George's County, Maryland. My family means the world to me. Growing up amongst brothers and now having four nephews and one niece, you can see the boys dominate the family.I’m an entrepreneur, real estate agent, and work in the human service field. I have a passion for helping others but not limited to working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, disadvantaged youth, adults, and the homeless.I’m an advocate for mental health and self care. I would describe myself as energetic, goofy, loving, caring, organized, creative, innovative, ambitious, strong, optimistic, resilient, unique, hard working, spontaneous, focused, goal oriented, confident yet reserve. Lastly, I take pride in motivating others.From exercising to nutrition, my overall health is important to me. I always say, “health is wealth”! I enjoy yoga, High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), fashion, networking, event planning, and modeling. As a model, it gives me an opportunity to come out of my cocoon and build character and confidence.There is much suffering throughout Africa. My goal is to use my platform to give back to those in need in Osun State, Nigeria. In addition, when I’m crowned Africa's Most Beautiful I will use my experience in consulting, event planning and networking, along with my education, experience and passion to raise funds for the Aboferm Area Foundation.
